Hi guys! I hope you’re having a great week. I can’t believe January is almost over! With the first month of the year almost gone by, have you stopped to re-evaluate your 2018 resolutions and goals? Now is a good time to check in with yourself, see what you need to work on and move forward with new and specific goals for the next month (this works better than yearly goals, in my opinion). I’m so excited to share these delicious and seemingly decadent bites with you all! They make an amazing afternoon snack or nighttime dessert. They’re full of healthy fats that are nourishing, satiety inducing, and hormone balancing. The maple syrup gives a nice sweetness without being overbearing, and the higher healthy fat content helps to reduce the rate of glucose absorption, creating a more steady release of insulin and no sugar crash later! Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a great new year! I’m sharing one of my favorite cozy go-to winter lattes today which is completely DIY, healthy and guilt-free! I love to whip this up on a Saturday morning to replace coffee with a milder caffeine kick from the black tea, but still enough to wake me up! It’s especially nice to cozy up with this warm latte with comforting spices with this FREEZING whether we have in the northeast, but it’s looking like it’s going to warm up to the mid-30s and 40s!! Cauliflower, Kale & Farro Soup

Hi, all! Today I’m sharing with you one of my favorite variations of a vegetable and grain soup, which is so versatile and fun to play around with this time of year! During the colder months, I tend to stray away from the nutrient dense cold smoothies, and move  towards meals like this that contain a wide variety of nutrients in a stew or soup form that are hearty, comforting and delicious. You can also add organic turkey or chicken meatballs, white beans, chickpeas, hemp seeds, etc. to boost the protein in the dish, however there is still a great dose of protein from the farro and kale alone.
